Frequently Asked Questions
Yes! A Basic Profile is always free. You do have the option to upgrade to Premium or Incognito if you want extra features or more privacy, but you never have to pay to use Plenty of Hires if you don't want to.
Nope. We don’t use resumes or traditional applications. You take one assessment, tell us about your skills, preferences, and work style, and we match you to jobs that actually fit you.
You take one 15-minute assessment and tell us what you’re good at, what kind of work you want, and what actually matters to you in a job.
Employers do the same.
We match you based on real fit — things like skills, pay, schedule, and work preferences — not resumes or keywords.
You don’t apply to jobs. Instead, you appear as a match to employers who fit you. They reach out to you directly when they want to connect.
No. That’s the best part.
You fill out one profile and get matched to every job you qualify for.
Premium lets you:
Add more details about yourself
Add unlimited skills, certifications, and experience
Add a full bio and work history
Show employers a stronger, more complete profile
It doesn’t change who sees you — it just makes your profile more impressive when they do see it.
Plenty of Hires is built for people who want to explore new opportunities without putting their current job at risk.
Your profile is visible to employers and can be matched like normal, but we hide your:
First and last name
Current employer
Past employer company names
Employers can still see your skills, experience, preferences, and overall fit.
If an employer wants to connect with you, they send a request. You get notified and decide whether to approve it.
Only after you approve does your identity become visible.
You stay in control the entire time.
Once you complete your assessment, your profile is continuously matched against current and future opportunities in our system.
When an employer sees you as a strong fit and wants to connect, they get your preferred contact information and reach out to you directly — usually by phone or email.
There’s no applying, no waiting for callbacks, and no middleman. The goal is simple: real conversations with real employers.
Plenty of Hires is built for construction, trades, and the businesses that support them.
You’ll be matched with roles based on your skills, experience, and what you’re actually looking for — everything from entry-level labor and skilled trades to supervisors, managers, and office roles within construction companies.
The goal isn’t to match you to more jobs. It’s to match you to the right ones.
Yes.
With Incognito Mode, you get to approve any connection/match before an employer can see your identity or contact you. With Basic or Premium, any employer can contact you directly.
That’s totally okay — but we do ask that you respond.
If an employer reaches out and it’s not a fit, just send a quick, respectful “no thank you.” You never know who you’ll run into again on a job site, and a little professionalism goes a long way.
You’re never required to move forward — just to be courteous.
For Basic profiles, if you’re inactive for 60 days, your profile is automatically paused so employers only see candidates who are actually active.
Nothing is deleted — you can come back and reactivate anytime.
If you’re on a Premium or Incognito profile, you control when your profile is active or paused.
This keeps the system clean, current, and working better for everyone.
Yes.
You can update your information anytime — whether your skills change, your pay needs change, or you’re looking for something different than before.
We actually encourage you to keep it updated so your matches stay accurate and relevant.
That’s completely fine — and actually encouraged.
We’re building Plenty of Hires to meet both employers and candidates where they’re at. Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time, temporary, or subcontract work, there’s a place for you here.
Your assessment tells us what kind of work you want, and we use that to match you with opportunities that fit your availability and goals.
