Our Assessments: Why Honesty Always Wins

Before you take the Plenty of Hires Job-Fit Assessment, we want to give you a quick rundown of what it is, how it works, and the one thing that makes the biggest difference in your results.
What the Job-Fit Assessment Is
The assessment takes about 15 minutes and covers 8 categories. It is not a test. There is no passing or failing.
The purpose is to build an accurate picture of who you are as a worker, so we can match you with opportunities that genuinely fit.
We look at things like:
What kind of work environment helps you stay focused?
What schedule actually works for your life?
What motivates you to show up and keep showing up?
What skills do you have, and which ones are you still building?
How do you tend to handle certain situations on the job?
Every question is there for a reason. Together, they help us make a match that works for you, not just one that looks good on paper.
What Happens After You Complete It
Once your assessment is done, it becomes your candidate profile. That profile is what employers on Plenty of Hires see when you come up as a match for an open role.
Your profile includes:
Your match scores across all 8 categories
Your work history and bio
Your hard and soft skills
Your schedule and availability
Certifications and job preferences
Your contact information
The contact information shared with a matched employer is based on your preferred contact method. If you chose call or text, that is how an employer will reach you. If you chose email, that is where they will reach out. You can update your contact information in your account at any time. Your information is only shared with employers who are actively using the platform for hiring-related communication. Plenty of Hires does not sell or share your personal information with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.
You are not submitting a resume into a void with us. Through the assessment and extended details, you are building a profile that represents you to employers who are already looking for someone with your background.
A Few Tips Before You Start
Take your time. There is no clock.
Read each question fully before answering. Some of them are situational, meaning they describe a scenario and ask what you would do. Answer based on what you would actually do, not what you think the ideal answer is.
If a question does not apply to your situation, answer as close to your reality as you can.
The One Thing That Changes Your Results
Answer honestly.
Some people answer assessments based on what they think sounds best. With Plenty of Hires, that approach will work against you.
The assessment asks when you typically arrive at work. The options are early, on time, or late. Answer what is actually true for you. If we match you with a job that requires someone on site at 6 am and that is not how you operate, that match is going to break down fast.
If you can only work Monday through Friday, tell us that. If you have a driver's license or you do not, answer it straight. Some positions require one, but a lot don't, and we need that information to find you something that fits who you are.
These are not dealbreakers. They are building blocks. The more accurate your answers are, the better we can match you.
